The application works well, although the editing options are not at the same level as the more advanced image editing program. When you open a photo in an editor, you’ll see the image on the main screen, on the left side of the file manager, and below the editing options. Editing options can be further divided into home, object, cropping, and tools. The main limitation here is that PhotoScape does not support layers, but it does support many other great editing options. With Home, you can resize an image and apply several common effects, such as effects, filters, and average editing options, such as color, focus, and black and white. With an object, you can write or edit an imagesymbols. Cropping gives you many options for cropping an image, and tools allow you to make targeted adjustments, such as red-eye removal and branch printing. Is PhotoScape an alternative to Photoshop? Whether PhotoScape works for image processing really depends on what you want to do, or how professional you want the end result. If you need the real shine and creativity of layers, you’ll probably find that PhotoScape is a bit lacking. The truth is, however, that many of us simply don’t need layers when editing photos. If you think you can do without it, PhotoScape is a good place to start. It has a hands-on approach that allows you to significantly change a photo, and unlike an option like Picsart, it focuses more on real image processing than creating funny photos to share online. If you’re looking for a workhorse for a photo at no cost, PhotoScape should be your first stop. The new latest update to PhotoScape has been changed a few times. These include: Black and White and Bandicoot filters added (Editor> Home, Smart Blur Brush added (Editor> Tools> Effect Brush), Brush sizes increase from 3 to 4 and increase). Large, 29 other movie effects have been added, so now a total of 35 movie effects (Editor> Home) and an improved Movie Effects interface
